I bought a CD.I received exactly the item I ordered.It came in new condition.The price was very reasonable.I received it before the promise date.This transaction was excellent.
The music is catchy and good but nothing super. Movie was good but most of the songs are depressing and nothing makes me want to go back over and over.
I just have one complaint and it's a big fist-clenching, teeth-gritting one for me: Christopher Walken should have played the Richard Gere role. What were they thinking. The movie is fast-paced, hot, sexy, jazzy, brassy, pure Fosse. Hello.
I highly recommend it. Cell Block Tango, All That Jazz, Roxie, I Move On, and Funny Honey are my favorite cuts here. Chicago soundtrack is non-stop fun. Who knew Catherine Zeta-Jones and Renee Zellweger could sing. I really enjoyed every second of the feature film, and the soundtrack is to die for.
If it weren't for Zellwegger, this would be getting five stars. Her voice annoys me whenever she sings and I cringe. Reilly can really sing. But 95% of the cast isn't bad. She belts it out with great gusto and proves that rappers don't always have to sound like crap.
The orchestrations were excellent, especially when you crank it up. The only one who can't sing is Zellwegger. She should do more musicals. Richard Gere surprised me on this one as did Catherine Zeta-Jones but the real standout performance is Queen Latifah with "When You're Good To Mama". It took a little adjusting from what he's done recently but John C.
